While I am disapointed to be leaving the Reds, I go knowing that I gave my all, and I hope that nobody feels that I have abandoned the team or anything like that. I appreciate everything Marc has done for the side and my fellow fast bowlers for the friendship we have developed, I hope they continue even though we won't be playing together.

As far as The Colts goes, I am looking forward to the challenge and can't wait to get together for the new season.

gotta agree with butts of blacks being favourites adding toogod to our squad only makes the champs even better looking

Green would have to start favourites, in my opinion, given their powerful bowling attack. But, the loss of Timewell could hurt them, and I can see a much improved Blues side this season.

Blacks always a shot too with guys like Wilson, Pickup and Thompson, and the Colts are an unknown quantity. Should be a very interesting season.

By the way, are there any internationals planned for the early stages of season 9?

No, he made one post saying he was back then disappeared again.

That's firstly hardly what I'd call active, and secondly he didn't sign in in the thread that everybody had to post in in order to be considered for the new season.

He'll be monitored until the start of the season. We need a few more committed signups though.

Green Update

Green are officially on the lookout for a 4th seamer in the leadup to season 9, while this person might find it hard to get into the first side straight away they would get good game time during the season due to likley International call ups and possible injuries to the other seamers. Depending on the pitches of other teams they would also be highly likley to get a run in away games.
