Season 3 Divisions

Well Kent have finally reached the dizzy heights of the first division in the One Day side of the game, however Iam relistic and can't see Kent being safe come the end of the next season.... With all the club's money being poured into the Four Day attack to gain promotion (to D1) in which they missed out on the last day of the season to Surrey; anything else but promotion will be seen as a failure in the eyes of the Board.

The Kent manager, back from his all expense paid (by the WCC Board) month's holiday, will be meeting up with his new look sqaud ready for pre-season training later in the week, with the rest of the drafted players joining up ASAP.

Well after what seems an eternity SA manager Brendon Goff will join back up with his squad next week to conduct a pre-season camp...
With a host of new talent joining the squad, Goff is confident of a fine season, although admitting it will be another grueling and tough schedule, with the likes of Mumbai, NSW and QLD again being the main challengers...

Goff is confident his 4 day squad can improve on it's dissapointing season last year where its scraped through the relegation zone by only a few points...

Speaking to a packed press conference today, Goff told reporters that the players to look out for were Matthew Jenkins along with ACT recruits Axelby, Dennett and Williams, and also warned that Last seasons Rookie Rob Stratton who performed below expectations was expected to fire....

well nsw manager bugs malone will fly with the boys to a silent location on the north coast for a training camp with the boys for this years season. new comers very eager to get going and with a few members still to join the strong blues outfit it looks like another good season. 1st on the list is to get promoted back up to 1st divison in the one day arena. the side looks very good with a few players fighting out for only a couple of spots.

stay tuned

Surrey will repeat last year's pre-season training methods (going down the pub every day)

This was a big success last year, and even convinced Saqqy that he had a new mystery ball, the one that separates into 2 complete balls after bowling, and the batsman doesn't know what to play!

Hampshire will be looking to reign supreme in the 4day comp with some new recruits coming in to the team to strengthen the side , the side seems to growin stronger overall year after year from what it started of as some village side... it was honestly embarrasing best avg in the squad that time was like 34....

We will be flying over to kent city to start doing pre season fitness training with the kent team and give each other batting and bowling practise and have some practise match games which i feel both teams need a lot as kent needs all the training to battle it out as it has advanced !

Hopefully a yes from kent manager will gives us the go ahead to come right over

after a poor season one, and an average season two... the TASMANIAN PANDA'S are expected to do well this season to hopefully reign supreme in on of the two codes.

Auckland are considering hiring Surrey's trainer to share duties between the two clubs. Liam Camps feels that this may be very beneficial to his team. Also he hopes it will get Symonds off his back for instating an 2 am curfew. In a statement made this morning:-

Andy Symonds: "It's just unreasonable that he should expect us home so early. Why, the party's just getting started at that time!"

ACT players are hard in training, they dont need to go on holidays cause they already live in the best place in the world.

The Warwickshire team are currently assembleingly in Dubai. The war will not scare this team. Although only 13 of the final 16 are there, they are all hard out at work, working on skills and fitness. They aren't attempting to be cool like some other very silly teams.

LOL no Andrew, they most definately live in a quiet little country town called canberra, not many people know about it, which makes it that little bit better. :P

The very fact you've chosen such a stupid venue shows you are attempting something, and also shows your team to be silly! :P
