Season 11 Activity Check

It does concern me as I'm a regular poster who wants to enjoy this forum as much as anyone else. I'm not going to name names here, but there are plenty of members here who deserve 'official warnings' far more than Smith. One little outburst and he cops it, while there are posters who regularly do far worse things that just slip by.


Despite my disillusionment, I'll drop it for now and walk away. I don't want this to escalate anymore.

Squad numbers aren't overly encouraging so far, so we're considering how to progress atm.

To be fair, it's been an epic off-season. Perhaps we could start with club cricket as per usual, and the activity would bring more people back into... activity? There are quite a lot of people who would have stopped checking the CWXI forum with nothing happening for dev league players for so long, it doesn't necessarily mean they are inactive the rest of the time.

I think the only thing that really generates mass activity is the Dev League itself. If you're gunning for mass activity, just send out an email to all those involved asking if they'd like to continue. Do an activity check a couple of weeks into the Dev League to weed out those non-committed at that point... nothing will do more for activity than starting to discuss the next season though, rather than just asking to see who's there for it. Let's get talking, and find out who's not signed in yet so we can nudge 'em, etc.

p.s Looks like a big rift at Black with the immature Blackman and Smith goin at it. Hopefully you boys just settle down and resolve it outside the cricket forums.
