And personally, going by the photo thread in Off topic, I'd pretty much be they only one who would have any problems with the term "yellow", due to being of oriental descent. Oh, my brother Liam too actually. But I don't have a problem with it at all.

It really doesn't bother me what the newest team in CW are called, whether that be Colts, Yellow, Purple or magpies. Just don't use the argument that Yellow is a racist remark, thus we shouldn't be called it.

I'd say the team name Black/Blacks is worse than Yellow/Yellows anyway, if you want to get all "PC" about every little tidbit in the world. Get over it.

It is a colour, but it's also a racist remark. Maybe not where you grew up, but it is where I grew up (Waitakere). Having said all of that, again, it is of no matter as we are the CW Colts regardless, a name chosen by our team and the name on the scorecards, our thread title, our uniforms and all other places of importance.

So I guess you won't mind your team being renamed CW Westies then?
