Scorecard Draft II

G.I.Joe

International Coach
While on the subject, Himmanv will still need to visit the player profiles since he'll need to calculate the OPM stats too. So I don't think we're saving him a visit to the profiles anyway.

Actually total overs bowled. There is quite a bit of information I have to add in per player. With totally 164 players picked, I'm guessing it wont be fun.

Just list the inputs needed, and I shall help you with all the data for my 12 players...

Player Name, (N.B. maximum 16 characters per name including spaces)

1. matches,
2. batting position (minus for first XI),
3. batting average,
4. run rate (-1 for unknown)
5. overs,
6. strike rate, - balls per wicket
7. economy, - runs conceded per over
8. bowling position,
9. style (1 = fast, 2 = medium, 3 = spin),
10. play rate (frequency of appearing in the final XI)

example:

MA Atherton,105,-1,39.13,-1,0,0,0,0,0,100,

P.S - For others reading, I suggest you dont put all emphasis on the Sim but make good picks as there will be a vote as well.

TBH, I'm happy if you don't bother - would rather see people picking a team based on a bit of fun rather than going all out for the stats at the expense of picking a proper team (particularly in the case of wicket-keepers - it's a joke picking someone who barely kept as a keeper IMO, just because he was a good batsman)

Yeah, good point and it is a fair amount of work. We'll definitely have the voting once the teams are picked. As for the sim, will try and get it up and running as well but it will depend on how much time I get.
