For all of you saying Inzaman was far better, just remember that during the 90s when both Anwar and Inzi were playing together, Anwar was considered the notably superior batsman and the one opposition tended to target most. In fact, Anwar was right up there with the best of the 90s batsmen.
Anwar IMO was also a better big match player compared to Inzi. He rose him game against Australia (unlike Inzi who averaged 30 odd against them compared to Anwar who averaged nearly 60). Anwar never seemed fazed by the quality of the opposition. If you check the major series in which both batsmen played together, Anwar more often than not scored more runs.
Inzi's record improved in the 2000s when pitches flattened and the bowling stocks were lesser in quality, while Anwar's career came to a quick end. Inzi only real edge is in terms of longevity as he played more than double the tests Anwar did.
