This comparsion is ridiculous. MJ is either the best or is considered one of three best basketball players ever: along with Lebron and Kareem. Sachin is not that in cricket. He's arguably the 2nd best batsman after the Don. And there are about a few others ahead of him in terms of cricketing skills: Sobers, Imran, Hadlee and there abouts with him McGrath and Marshall.
MJ has the highest ppg average and 3rd highest spg average. He's top 3 in 2 of the 5 major categories. Sachin isnt that in cricket. There's no cricket equivalent to rings. MJ is considered atg both defensively and offensively. Sachin is an atg batsman and nothing more. Outside of cricketing circles most people know of MJ. Ex: MJ commands one third of Nike's market share in China alone.
