Cricketer Of The Year
He is.Is LeBron actually the second best in his sport?

That's like saying MJ and Don are equal.Mate, you have one who is contending for best player of all time, vs one who can’t even claim 2nd best batsman of all time, let alone 2nd best player. Pretty obvious.
He is.
LeBron is closer to MJ than he is to this bunch imo. And Bill Russell is probably better than two of them.Wilt, Kareem & Magic all have their case as well imo

Age.40 what?
Centuries?
What did LeBron do at 16?Sachin was pretty bad at 40
Lemme introduce you to Joey ChestnutIt’s ridiculous to compare across sports.
Unless you are Don Bradman![]()
Avocado is close.....Lemme introduce you to Joey Chestnut
IDC..but for multiple years, I have made the pilgrimage to Coney Island to watch this legend put 70+ hot dogs down his gullet in 10 minutes while the next best was in the high 40s to low 50s.Avocado is close.....
No its not lol. Greatest cricketer of all time - Sachin doesn’t even have an argument for top 3. He maybe has an argument for top 5. LeBron is almost unanimously considered #1 or #2 (mainly 2) and the gap between him and MJ? Basically nothing. Far far closer than the gap between Tendulkar and Sobers (excluding Bradman). Unless you’re insane obviously. That's like saying MJ and Don are equal.
Tbf Tendulkar is working against 120+ years of cricket history. ATG players from the early-mid 1900s are still considered relevant in GOAT discussions in cricket, whereas in basketball, it's just around 60 years or so. Cricket has a much larger pool of players throughout history and a very different sport where it's more difficult to compare players across disciplines/specialisations than basketball. No its not lol. You could compare Tendulkar the batsman (rather than the player) vs LeBron the player and that would be roughly even
I would consider Sobers and Imran far better analogues for MJ and LeBron.Removing Bradman from the discussion, Sobers is pretty clearly the greatest cricketer in history. The only guy that you can have any case is for Grace and even that imho is bit of a stretch as much as I love W.G.
Still went with Sachin tho, I would probably put him over everyone except Wilt and MJ.
