@Sliferxxxx SRT is the youngest player Ever to score centuries in England, Australia and South Africa. Debuted at 16 and scored a 50 vs Imran, Wasim and Waqar with a broken nose. Has a Total of 25 matches as a teenager, 19 away. Not as a 19 year old, most before turning an adult. I don't know someone saying Sachin scored 2 good centuries in Australia vs McDermott, Hughes, Reid and one to Shane Warne at 18, is overhyping his teens really.

Sachin would beat Sobers as a Cricketer on this forum tbf, sadly, CW is not the real world.
No way on earth here at least. Maybe in outside world with the voting of people of India ofc. But in those lists someone like Dhoni would probably be a top 5 cricketer of all time. Lolll

Anyway, Sobers is leagues above Sachin as a cricketer. The difference between the two as a cricketer is more than the difference between someone like Sachin and every batsman ever averaging over 45, maybe 40 tbh.

Those are all commendable but nothing to overhype him over. I do take issue with people praising his successes as a teenager but then in the same breath using his youth as an excuse for failures at that age.

There isn't a probability of an Indian victory, it's just a contest of how many of these chumps England can force into retirement via the sheer humiliation India is about to be handed.
England may win but England is a joke of a team. Always has been. Always will.

Yeah it's a bit of complicated point but let me explain it real easy

- As a general rule, be a bit lenient on cricketers across the board debuting extra early in their teen years to not be so harsh on their lesser returns then

- In that context, Tendulkar scoring tons away is exceptional
