. I think the issue with him at the moment is he has mostly played T20 cricket. It's the inverse of the man he is always compared too because AB already had a solid FC game before T20 became a thing. I think he has talent,but the short ball is not his friend.

There are some strong sides being trotted out. The level of Cricket has been of a fairly high standard.

I think it’s a higher quality than the BBL. All International players are available (sadly to the detriment of a Test Series) and there’s a higher standard of overseas too (notably comparing the English in each comp).

The guys made 4/5 hundreds across list A and FC this season, 3 bad SAT20 games doesn't make him a fraud, lol.

Nobody is denying this man's talent... He made 2 FC centuries and 3 50s... But has ended up avg 36 this season. The reason is likely got to do with him not learning how to construct an innings properly because he is being overly aggressive.
With his talent we would rather see him turn into ABdV than into Gibbs.

He had a bad start to the season, then had a month break in the middle between Nov and December, then came back and made 2 hundreds in 4 games. I choose to take that pattern as a sign that he's a talented 20 YO batsmen who's developed his game. May be true. May not. We won't know until we see him play more games in the next 12-24 months.
I think going "he's averaged 36 this season, likely because he hasn't learnt how to construct an innings" is wrong given what we've seen as the seasons progressed, but like I said, we really don't know.
