SA t20 tournament

I enjoyed it for what it was. The packed stadium with Table mountain in the background and the last two WC winning captains playing made it feel way bigger than the Mzansi Super League. The commentary was annoying, but it's T20. You just role with it!

Some comments on the game:
- Archer looks so languid running in.
- Brevis is such a clean striker.
- Rickelton still has the bit between his teeth.
- Miller is in the form of his life.

Durban Super Giants have good bowling options for Kingsmead. Three quality T20 spinners in there.

Any reason that so many of the teams so far have chosen so many bowlers? 3 of the 4 teams so far seem to be slotting a bunch of bowling all-rounders from 6 to 11 and hoping the top order makes runs.

Well for super giants it's cause at the auction they hardly bought specialist batsmen. It's a squad of allrounders.

It did speed up a bit.. but also some not great bowling. I do think they may have to improve the pitches for this time of year. Been difficult heading towards end of cricket season.

Doesn't matter how good or bad the pitch is if you don't land it on the pitch half the time. Think Durban just bowled horribly at the death and johan took full toll.
