Just because he was a world-class rugby player, doesn't mean he's a good playmaker.
I would rate him to do a good job at first five. He would be more than capable.

Question that's always been at the back of my head whenever I watch union. What the hell is the point of the flankers?
Flankers are golden.

I'm pretty sure Kasper played Number 8

sorry to interupt ya rugby talk but ive always thought Shane Watson would make an awsome centre half forward in aussie rules

Kasper's brother plays professionally in Japan. Kasprowicz played Australian Schoolboys I think.

There's a bloke called Matt Day here in Sydney. He played Australian Schoolboys earlier this year but chose not to go on the tour to the UK so he could play in the cricket National Under-19 Championships for NSW. Can't quite remember who he plays grade for here in Sydney.

They flank either side of the scrum.

At a scrum where the ball has been won by the opposition, they have the best view of when the ball is out. As soon as it's cleared, they break from the scrum & close the opposition down, reducing the time they have to kick or pass. The openside covers the open side of play and the blindside stops blindside moves. Most back play is on the open side, so the blindside will join the breakdown there. Flankers are always involved in the game, as they're the ball winners in broken play. They're either the first to arrive at a breakdown or cause the breakdown itself by tackling the ball carrier.

Well he's not an International class all rounder, so he needs an alternative career to fall back on ;)
