It's been tough this week, some strange results. Mostahdaf was very impressive, but he seems like the kind of horse who is just as likely to run a stinker next time, I wouldn't be rushing for 5-1 in the Eclipse.

All eyes on Al Asifah who has been backed from 4-5 into 4-7 in the first....in a 19 runner field. Really hoping she's as special as she seems.

Great scenes as the King gets a winner in what was undoubtedly the race of the meeting so far. But another one that was tough to pick out.

Starts with a 150/1 winner , ends with a 50/1 winner

the bookies will be weighed down with cash in their satchels

Al Asifah certainly didn't love up to that big reputation in the Ribblesdale - I wonder if there was something amiss.

But it was a fascinating result from the perspective of this part of the world. Warm Heart is a daughter of Sea Siren, who won multiple Group One races in Australia (all sprints, strangely enough) and comes from a very good Australia/NZ family.

Yeah, she was the first Frankel to run badly. I think it was fairly straightforward, she didn't stay (she also didn't get the best of rides either, too far out the back in what was actually a fairly slowly run race). Frankel soon put things right as Courage Mon Ami won for Frankie in his last Gold Cup. I'm not sure if he plans to retire at the end of this season here, Breeders Cup or maybe have one more Melbourne Cup?

Warm Heart obviously gets her stamina from Galilieo and some of his best progeny have been when mixed with sprinting mares. Frankel himself is the perfect example.

New owners powerhouse developing in Wathnan Racing, a Qatari group who spend big on horses in training. That's 2 Royal Ascot winners for them from recent recruits.

A favourite wins in Tahira 8/13. But could be a stewards enquiry as the winner squeezed the second about a furlong out

Nice to see King Of Steel show that his enormous performance in the Derby wasn't a fluke.

Extraordinary performance by Shaquille in the Commonwealth Cup.
