I am not sure why a couple of people are getting aggressive. This thread is about the role rain had to play in the makeup of the semi-finalists at this WC. Most would agree that without rain, it would be India Vs Pakistan and England Vs Australia. New Zealand would be nowhere near the picture. That's all there is to say. Whether they "deserve" it or not is just semantics. Life's not fair though and nature has wronged Pakistan in this tournament (India's approach to the chase Vs England and England magically getting flat decks in an ICC tournament after Barstow whined didn't help in the slighest). It is what it is and Pakistan will be back. No-one expected them to lift the Champions Trophy humbling big names like Root and Kohli in the process. The cornered tigers will rise again.
