5-0 very much on the cards here. Going into a long tour of Australia with the entire team's confidence at rock bottom is about as bad as it can get. They have virtually no time to get this whitewash out of their system too.

Dunno about that. Recently BD, Pakistan, SL and NZ have won series after being smashed. Maybe the tests prior to the revival served as some form of practice for the subsequent series. India's was a surprising loss but they have red ball game time behind them. Their batsmen do well here (admittedly the pitches have deteriorated since last tour) and the bowling is very good. I wish I was as confident as some of you guys that India will lose. I'm not as confident in Aus' chances.

I can see India struggling against Australia's lower middle order as well as the tail, allowing Australia to bounce back even from sticky situations.

Must say, if we are going to prepare grassy pitches, and if he's fit (always a big if) I wouldn't object to Joel Paris being in the test squad.
Yeah he was a PONI before he actually started being a gun Shield bowler, then discarded. It's a weird paradox.

Its not like he's Chris Swan.

Rohit will be missing the 1st Test and is not 100% for 2nd Test either. Let's hope he stays away. Time to groom a new opener and a new captain.
