Hadlee is at worst top 7/8 cricketer of all time.
Botham could get into my top 20 if I pushed hard enough.

Close? No.

Just curious
1. Are we comparing their peaks?
2. Are we comparing their careers?
3. Are we deciding who will be better for ATG team?

We are comparing them as cricketers.

1. Botham, could've gone either way tbh.
2. Hadlee.
3. Hadlee should make the 1st AT XI, Botham will make it in the 2nd or 3rd XI.

My friend, I created that poll expecting a close vote since I see those cricketers as relatively close in value.
Hadlee always rated Imran as the best of the 1980s all-rounders:

Imran was slightly behind Hadlee as a bowler and was a much better batsman. Kapil and Botham are not even in the debate.

McGrath rates Akram as the best:-

Greats are always humble, just like me.
