Resignation

I spoke to Tharmi at the start of the WCC revival, and he convinced me to continue. However, I can't find the necessary enthusiasm or dedication to WCC this season to give Western Province the necessary devotion required to be successful.

Thus, I am standing down from the position, because this squad of players has a large amount of potential, and I am of the belief that in the right hands it could, in fact should, be a title winning side.

It was a pleasure to take this side over from Ian Markus, and I can only hope that the team is in as good a shape as what he left it for me. Good luck to whomever takes over the role, and good luck to the players with whom I have the utmost time for.

Sad to see you go Jack, but i do understand your reasons. Hopefully you do comeback to WCC one day when your more enthusiasm about it. You were one of better managers last season and during your time in the academy two season ago.
