ok CHivers has now played 7 tests and 3 ODI's.

53 test wickets at an average of 16 4 5wicket hauls 1 10 wicket match haul BB: 6-6
13 ODI wickets at an average of 7 2 5wicket hauls BB: 6-38 RPO: 3.23

he's single handedly bowling teams out... it's a question of whether our batsman can make an at all defendable target that we win games. because chivers just rolls everyone :O

Surely he only managed 155 for you then, taking away the 12 Test wickets? :)

Have to ask, what were your other bowlers like?!
Well I have the world's best test bowler... a pace bowler believe it or not :O:wow: i thihk chivers is going to overtake him pretty quickly though. then i have smethurst, dean, hoggard, a youth with a 2nd team avge of 13 first class avge of 16 and OD of 15. then an all-rounder od avge of 21 and fd avge of 29, but he hardly bowwls anymore... chivers gets them out too quickly.

actually looking over the test rankings.... only 3 of them are spinners. harbajan is ranked 2nd, hussain is ranked 9 and chivers is ranked 8th (even though he's only played 7 tetsts.) ver y strange to see only three spinners... i'm in 2009.

1. Nathan Carrington [England]
2. Harbajan Singh [India]
3. Daryl Tuffey [New Zealand]
4. Mohammad Sami [Pakistan]
5. Matthew Hoggard [England]
6. Yasir Arafat [Pakistan]
7. Mathhew Inness [Ausralia]
8. Ian Chivers [England]
9. Mohammad Hussain [Pakistan]
10. Mervyn Dillon [West Indies]

I'm sure that will change before too long.

I think the most Test wickets I ever had anyone get was around 860-870 from a 20-year career.

Another offie, believe it or not (!)

it was "only" 11. when i say only it's because i have had a 9 before. but this guy is the best bowler i've ever seen. 2nd team isn't everything and has been proven to be the case on many occasions.

his averages are now looking like:

FC 660 wickets at 14//68 matches
OD 203 wickets at 11//73 matches
Test 290 wickets at 15//31 matches
ODI 96 wickets at 12//34 matches

he has played three seasons and is currently 21 (will go to 22 next season)

england dominates the game late on, most of englands test batters will average 60+ and their bowlers will all average less than 20.
just had a guy take 1000 test wickets for me, albeit not at a great average.

yeah i play the previous world's best test bowler (now overtaken by chivers). 2nd team avge of 14 and OD avge of 14 and FC of 19. guy with a 2nd team avge of 13. Test avge of 20 and ODI 18. Then I have this guy that i just got this season with a 2nd team avge of 9.

But it's funny... when Chivers aint playing 1 of them will get a 5 for in one of the innings and someone else in the second innings. But when Chivers is there they normally have figures of like 1/13 etc. and CHivers gets liek a 7-for...
