Nope... coz Ashwin's career will have an end. That is not a hypothetical. So its just a prediction. A hypothetical is assuming Richards wont have done better than Sachin in the 90s, coz its never actually gonna happen. Its just theory or speculation, however well informed it maybe.

I think he's talking about Woakes' batting average (still too low, enough to call the whole exercise a bullshit, I know that); his bowling would be 20 (excluding the minnows Bangladesh and West Indies).

Like I said, I am not sure you have the right meaning associated to that word. Neither example you mentioned is a hypothetical given both Bumrah and Ashwin will have an end of their career point.

No.. but the timing is important. It was a hypothetical when the sequel was not announced. Had the same conversation happened AFTER the sequel was announced, it wont be called a hypothetical.
