Rank the trophy in order of importance

Cricketer Of The Year
This but the first 2 swapped. Ever since I was a kid the World Cup was THE thing in cricket. Ashes have been mostly one-sided Aussie victories for the last 35 years.

Reckon the World Cup is losing it's status though. The downfall of ODIs and T20s diluting white ball cricket will reduce the lustre. IMO 2023 will be the last one to have that feel about it.
And yes I agree that the importance of the WC is likely to slide.

Sharjah ODI games in packed stadiums were an integral part of my childhood, nothing comes close to that experience (maybe I'm nostalgic).

From mid to late 2000s, winning against Australia in any game was huge to me. Simply because they set such high standards whether it be fielding, batting and bowling, and we had to play out of our skins to even win a bilateral T20 game.

Strangely, a loss to Pakistan never hurt me as bad as losing to Ponting's side back then did. Even winning against Pakistan didn't make me feel too elated, I enjoy watching Indo Pak games though for the entertainment and thrilling finishes.

Currently, winning a test series in England would rank up first, rest of the others are just about in the same level.
