Yeah heard about this
As if we need to play Sri Lanka again.. players from both sides along with the fans must be getting sick of it as well.

Nine cricketers to avoid in a dark alley

2. Virender Sehwag (India)

This one is a complete no-brainer. In case you haven't figured out why Viru may be a problem in a dark alley, allow me to elucidate:

He'd hit you. With his bat. Again and again and again and again and again and again and again. He just wouldn't stop hitting you.

If you died it would make no difference - he'd just keep hitting you and hitting you and hitting you and hitting you, until even your corpse begged for mercy.

Then he'd hit your corpse some more. He'd shift his position, mire his boots for better purchase in the ground awash with your body fluids, wipe his brow, raise his bat in acknowledgement... and continue hitting you.

By the time he was done there'd be nothing left of you, his bat would be in splinters and the crowd would be calling his name, over and over again.

"Viru! Viru! Viru! Jai! Jai! Jai!"

Sehwag's greatest hits. Starring you.

Random Thought

I was thinking about this the other day and havent been able to find out what the rules are.
In an ODI what would happen if both captains decided they wanted to take their respective powerplays in the last 5 overs. When the game gets down to the last 10 overs and no-one has called for the PP what course of action should be taken by the umps and if both captains were adamant they wanted the last 5 how would they decide. I know it is probably a moot point as the fielding restrictions are the same so all of the last 10 would be PP overs but for the sake of being pedantic I wonder what the official ruling would be.

When a batsman comes out to start his knock in a limited overs match, why does Channel Nine put all his stats up on their graphic except arguably the most important one, his strike rate?

I was listening to the cricket on the radio and I heard that SA president Zuma was apologising for a ***ual matter. It was said that he was being irresponsible for have unprotected ***.

My random thought is that has any player played with HIV/AIDS or any other life threating illness?

The radio broadcast also said less that 1/10 people in SA are infected with HIV/AIDS.
