Quickest part time bowler

Jayro

U19 12th Man
I think Mark waugh used to bowl with a decent pace, other then him who do you think has played in a team primarily as a batsman and had a good pace to his bowling?

Mudassar nazar.

Not sure he was really a part timer especially in the 2-3 Yr period when Imran could not bowl and played as just a batter Muddy was the designated all rounder in that period.

Pup Clarke

Cricketer Of The Year
Matt Wade. Don't know if it was anomaly but he got up to 82-83mph when (very briefly) bowling v SL many years ago. Not sure how much to read into it and whether he could sustain that

More seriously, wasn't Steve Waugh quite sharp when he first started out? I have no tangible evidence but anecdotally I've heard he was slippery and used to bowl quick bumpers

I think when Steve Waugh was quick, he wasn’t a part timer, and by the time he became dibbly dobbly he was.

Didn’t Greg Blewett bowl in the 130s?

Young Jesse Ryder bowled low 130s pretty effortlessly. Craig McMillan had a phase of bowling 130kph bouncers but within a few years was down to 115-120.

Blewett a really good shout. Definitely quicker than many would initially think
