Quarter Finals

i think you'll find England got where they are by beating a semi-finalist
I am English, they got a very good route leading into the semi finals. But I am now building up false hope that if they win tomorrow, they will be facing a bruised and battered team the following week, and it's a relatively beatable New Zealand in the final after that.

Feel for Ireland. They deserved a QF v the Argies or Wales. I feel they would've handled the pressure v the All Blacks better if they already had the WCQF monkey off their back.

NZ are going to win this thing at a canter now, you just watch.

Agree with the first part. France/SA will take some beating in the final.

World Number 1 is playing, and the opposition is down to 14 men for a quarter of the match, yet they still lose. That's a choke in my mind.
They scored a try in the 2-3 mins they had a man advantage in the first half (half time probably came at the worst possible time for Ireland because they had all the momentum) and would have got the game winning try in the 2nd period of 14 men if it hadn't been for a brilliant piece of individual defending.

They struggled to create much when it was 15 v 15, which is why they lost.

Th All Black's biggest opposition in World Cups is always the weight of expectation from the rugby following world that they should win easily. With that gone...

Also, ****ing congratulations to World Rugby that such an epic game was a ****ing quarter final because of your absolutely ****e draw.

An absolute ****ing nonsense that one of tonight's teams went out while a team from this afternoon's crap fest gets to the semis.
Yeah I think the top four in rankings should automatically go through to the semis

Think this is a different Fiji to the one which struggled against Georgia and Portugal.

Literally laughing out loud going into contact
