Well there is concern in the ACT camp, after some inconsistent performances... Signs of the expected quality was there but in dribs and drabs..

Despite expecting a few inconsistent performances from the young guys, Some serious work will be done in the next week to ensure this is out of the system..

Not sure what to make of the Tamil Nadu vs Western Australia 4D Game

Tamil Nadu 573
Western Australia 195
Asked to follow on 395 runs behind.
Western Australia 629!
Tamil Nadu need 296 runs to win.
Tamil Nadu 45-2
Match drawn.

Hmmm...

Did well, only lost one of each form. Batsmen preformed well and the bowlers backed it up. Just wondering, why did Jimmy Ormond open the batting in Four Dayers????

I'm very pleased with my Free State side. 3-2 in the 1 dayers (without my top batter) and 2-3 in 4D.

Most players put in very solid and consistant games, we ddint get thrashed in either form really, which was good.

One player of note is C Williams in 1D. Managed 268 runs in 4 matches @ avg of 134.00(2 100's and a 50) with 2 NO's. He was a pleasant surprise thats for sure. However nothing counts untill the season starts, if he can prove himself in the proper thing he will be a great asset.

The teams were fairly random, as Blewy said.

I am sure it isnt cause you didnt pick your side...blewy did so that might be the reason you are getting the results you got

Damnit... he's onto me :@

But seriously, I had Porter at 4 with an average of 35, Trescothick at 5 with an average of 35, then Defreitis was my number 6

My bowling was pretty bad as well. Only really Maqbool, Bennett and Porter would play, Porter and Bennett both bowled well but Maqbool didn't get many overs.

So my team was pretty shocking. However Porter put in a "decent" performance, 132 and 4* in his batting and 6/60 and 2/141 in his bowling!

very happy with nsw form in both forms of the gme, 4day very happy with anmd one day there is a little room for concern, but it should be a good season for the blues, lets just hope they can perform like this on match day.

Glamorgan, while showing glimpses of promise, largely dissapointed in their 4 day warm ups, losing both convincingly. The manager was more than happy to note, however, 4 wins out of the 5 one-day matches, including the defense of more than 1 ordinary total.

You should have hade five four-day games as well?

The Queensland manager is very happy and hopes that these performances can be translated in the real thing. We only dropped one four day game and the side is not relying on any one player. Good team performances all round. The attempt to get some quality bowlers seems to have worked.

We were looking bloody good in 1D, until that game against Auckland....jeez, I don't know what to make of that, especially since we flogged Hampshire, who then beat Auckland....
