The black NZ kit from 2000/01 until last year was my favourite. The new one is absolutely awful however.

I'm trying to find the mostly-white one we wore in the late 1980s (1989-90 if I remember correctly). It just had three black lines up the front masquerading as stumps. This was stupid, as the games ended up having to be played with a red ball because of the uniforms.

At least Holland's kit is distinctive, as is Zimbabwe's. Almost every team seems to play in blue or green. To see a match contested by two sides in dark green, as at Hobart the other day, is something only cricket could manage. Of course only one side is in the field at any given time, but then why have the colours at all? Away kits, anyone?
