He's a good 20/20 player - that's not in doubt. But does he deserve a central contract if he's a 20/20 specialist? Because Dave Warner is one, and Cricket Australia haven't offered him a central contract as far as I know....

He's qualified for an incremental contract, I think.He's a good 20/20 player - that's not in doubt. But does he deserve a central contract if he's a 20/20 specialist? Because Dave Warner is one, and Cricket Australia haven't offered him a central contract as far as I know....

Took 3 for 26 aswell with his medium pacers, the guy just has a knack for taking wickets for some reason.

How important is a WA 'A' series for a player that has already played lots of ODIs. Fair enough if it was a 4-day squad. But seems a tad pointless to make him play a one day series when they know he already has already signed a contract to play somewhere else.
I know in the past Sri Lanka over looked Maharoof for a A series so he could play in the IPL. It his meant there return to NT sides took six months longer then what they could have been. But hasn't made a massive difference for mine.
