Over here we don't have many girls who like Cricket, but we have one Female English member here on CricketWeb, Anna. Nice to see Cricket is followed and played by both ***es all around the World Not many girls play it round here though.

Impressive...I'm an up and coming Shropshire player, though living in a minor county is more of a hinderence to doing anything in the game than if I lived in a FC County. Because I live in a rural county I can rarely get a game for a village side either, you have to be a mate of the captain's

ok I admit my mistake.But I wasnt too late though.It was midnight thursday in India when I posted !! And I would have lost anyway!

The problem took place because of my habit of posting teams on thursday nights and my exam took my mind off it completely.Ill try to mend it and post em sometime earlier in the future.

I am still going to make your round results stand, as if I reply all the avg and everything else would get mucked up, however iam willing to reduce your forfit (ie give you your forfit warnings back you two only though) just to a mistake/mis understanding.

Mumbai will still be at a disadvantage due to losing, however the ND game will now have to be a win as Glmorgan failed to summit.


What does everyone think? Is that fair?

Whilst I'll support any decision that mamagement makes on the issue, you're getting on dangerous ground when you start making allowances for some but not others.
It has been clearly stated in the past that teams must be posted by Thursday midnight Aussie time, so no excuses for anybody there! Just post your team earlier in the week.
Eyes - I know that you've been through a lot, but you did state earlier in the week that you were back on board and at the helm of ND again.
Whilst I'd like to see both Sriram and Eyes remain, I think that the forfeits should stand. Give an inch, take a mile!

Iam happy to go with that Graham, my idea was a suggestion but after time and reading your reply, you are right and the current fortits will remain in place (it's not like you will do it again.. Right ) it's not like a none regular team would get such perviallige..

I would like to see the division two table before making my decision. But somehow I think the forfeits should stand. You can't start making exceptions, when suddenly one week, someone might think they had a valid reason only for the board to disagree. You have to take a hard line with this. Show no mercy.

If they both forfeited neither gets any points AFAIK - and they should stand.

Either way it's not going to affect you as there's no way you can make Div 2 in the OD comp now!

a) You should base on decision on what is fairest, not what will suit your team more.

b) If you contrive to finish bottom with that side, you really do deserve to be shot.
