Come On People

This week the following teams failed to sumit their teams on time.

Mumbai, Glamorgan (2 weeks in a row), TN (2 weeks that iam aware of in a row), Free State (2 weeks in a row), Jamacia, Worcstershire and finally ND.

+ WA and Hampshire, but they have valid reasons and Iam will select squads on their behalf until they return.

And these are just the ones that I spotted, I haven't even gone through in detail yet, so there could be more :(

That's just plain madness, I know you all have things to do but surley you have 2 mins free to write 11 names???

We have set up a thread for teams to be posted in for the coming rounds should you know your going to be away, we have a long waitting list and if you are no longer intrested in your job please contact me, so I can give your team to someone who wants it.

Well I don't like to have a go at people, so I will end this on a good note, well done to those that did get your team in on time and Div 1 could well prove intresting with Mumbai losing and all the contenders summiting.

Erm Rich, if Mumbai were playing TN - surely no-one gets any points?

For those who've failed twice in a row, isn't that the end?

Suggest we have a meeting tonight about it (and also a meeting about the VWC, and a meeting about the CWWCFCL)

Mate, I had the same problem last week but I just didn't know when or where to post my team. But the rule is it's late and doesn't count. Rich will pick a random team for you or you will forfit the match. Talk to him.

Firstly I have decided that Mumbai will still forfit their game for the following reasons.

- Still had a week to summit, even with exams there was plenty of time - eg weekend iam sure they are not that harsh to make you sit exams then.

- These exams wouldn't have come out of the blue and even if he couldn't have posted at all in the whole week, he could have left his team in the coming thread last week.

- I've still seen Siram online alot on and off all week, could have summited then.

- Iam not going to create a one rule for one and one for everyone else, if I let Mumbai off I have to let 6 or so others off.

- And finally as Graham has stated it's getting slack around here at present and things need to be improved.

Hope this makes things clear, any question E-Mail Me

As most of you know, the reason why I haven't been around is due to my Grandfather having major brain sugery in early December.

I let everyone know this and GB told me that my team (ND) would be taken care of until I got back...

Why didn't this occur?

This is also the reason why I wasn't back on Monday as I hoped...

Thanks Boys...

Won't be on much today as I'm in the middle of teaching a friend of mine the Laws but I'll catch up with you all soon...

Take Care...

Eyes..
Don't forget that I haven't been on-line for over a month and with all that is going on in my life at the moment, I have forgotten deadlines and such. While I am aware that is no excuse, I would hope that a little slack would be cut as I try to get back into the swing of it..

Well I think it's ok. He has been away and he has had extenuating circumstances. This isn't a reason to start making up excuses though guys.

D'oh I missed out the "S" of She ;)

Hehehe you must be the only person who's profile I've not looked at. Well now I know :)

Over here we don't have many girls who like Cricket, but we have one Female English member here on CricketWeb, Anna. Nice to see Cricket is followed and played by both ***es all around the World :) Not many girls play it round here though.

Although in my 1st match I failed to submit a team because I didn't know where to submit it or when the deadline was and I had only had my updated team for a few days, I think your reason is valid. I mean I was a total newbie but once I found out about the system I was ok, and it was a friendly anyway. But I will support any cause I feel is right, and I doubt you'll miss putting your team in again. :)
