First Class Debutant
Lancashire: 7-7-5
Kyle explained it pretty well. Bascially it just about looking at your strength of your team. If you feel the strength of your side is batting then your best of having most of conditions 5 or below, as your batting gain the most benefit from those levels. It however important not to drop below 2 in Pace and to a lesser extent movement as the pitch is too slow and hard to bat on. So for batting friendly pitches 2-5 is the best. Can someone please explain this or link to a thread where it's been explained in the past.
Thanks Tharmi, I should have all this submitted after exams finish on Wed.Kyle explained it pretty well. Bascially it just about looking at your strength of your team. But if you feel your strength is bowling then your better of having conditions 4-7. Basically for Fast bowlers the most important condition is pace. For medium pacer the most important is movement, for spinners its turn.
So if you are going to go for a bowler friendly pitch have a look at your bowling attack and look at the type of bowlers you have. If you have a lot of fast bowlers go for a pitch with a lot of pace. If you have a lot of medo then movement, spinner then turn.
YesIs the maximum limit still 7 on any particular type.
Managers have until the start of the season to change these bowling orders. Roughly first week of January.Pace-Movement-Turn
