Line and Length won by 7 wickets

After two early wickets for Barnes, trundler's bowlers were toiling for much of the day against the Indian duo of Sehwag and Tendulkar, and Border, Sobers and Kapil combined to put up a large total. The Line and Length bowlers also struggled at first, but after Sutcliffe was dismissed for a patient 59, Walcott found little support at the other end as he scored a valiant century against some excellent bowling from Garner and Steyn. There was some surprise when the follow-on was enforced, but the pair bowled well again with good support from Verity, and another couple of quick wickets for Barnes in the fourth innings was never going to affect the final result.

ataraxia won by 203 runs

A magnificent display of batting from Sangakkara produced the first double-hundred, and the largest innings, of the tournament so far. With good support from Lawry and the other batsmen, only Anderson had any success on a flat wicket. Lillee then removed the openers quickly, but it was ataraxia's other bowlers who worked their way through the middle order to obtain a large lead despite a fluent 89 from Ponting. This time, the surprise came when the follow-on wasn't enforced, and Anderson again bowled well, with Sangakkara resisting almost single-handedly as he scored another hundred. The win was now surely beyond AndrewB's reach, and some lethal bowling from Tony Lock on a turning final-day pitch removed any chance they had of hanging on for a draw, despite a heroic display from Greenidge.

Himannv won by 23 runs

A patient display from Hanif Mohammad on a difficult pitch saw Himannv achieve a respectable total, which looked like being comfortably enough as Richard Hadlee tore through the Fuller Pilch batting. However, a remarkable hundred partnership by Philander and Trumble, followed by another 50 by Trumble and Tyson, meant that the lead was only 51. Hammond then batted well, but his colleagues struggled as Trumble took his match haul to 9 wickets, and the target for victory was 253. A belligerent knock of 81 from Gooch, and some late hitting by Cairns, kept Fuller Pilch's men in the game, but eventually some excellent bowling from Ambrose, supported by Hadlee who achieved his 10-for, won the match from Himannv.

Pothas won by 9 wickets

A solid batting display from Michaelf7777777's XI took them to a decent total; however, a brilliant 179 from Lara, with support from Gambhir, saw Pothas's XI take a 100 run lead into the second innings. The spinners did most of the damage in the second innings, and some more sumptuous batting from Gambhir and Lara gave Pothas's men a comfortable win.

Teuton won by 6 wickets

Another solid batting performance, capped by a dogged 141 by Dravid, took JOJOXI past 400, though their hopes of a really big total were wrecked by a late spell from O'Reilly giving him a 5-for. In reply, Teuton's XI looked to be in some difficulties early on, but Clarke's superb innings of 212, including some fine hitting from Warne who troubled all the other batsmen, gave them a useful lead. The match was still in the balance, but a disappointing display by JOJOXI's men the second time round left Teuton a very reachable target, which they duly passed with time to spare.

Fuller Pilch's XI collapsed on the first afternoon from 95-1 to 110-5, but Younis, Cairns and Jadeja then took the score past 300. A shaky response from Line and Length's team, built around Weekes's 89, then left them 47 runs behind. Some excellent bowling from Steyn had Fuller Pilch in trouble again, but this time Gilchrist came to their rescue, with good support from the tail, to set a testing target of 338. As the pitch began to turn on the 4th day, Line and Length's XI struggled against Jadeja, and their unbeaten run came to an end when Tyson blew away the tail.

ataraxia won by 4 wickets

When Pothas's XI were 340-3 on the second morning, with Lara in full cry, they seemed set for a massive total; but Miller then bowled ataraxia back into the game. It looked like they would have a first-innings deficit until Mohammad Yousuf added 150 for the last two wickets with Lillee and Holding; and Lillee then recovered from the mauling he'd suffered in the first innings to support Tony Lock in running through the Pothas batting after another good start from Hobbs and Gambhir. Their fourth innings was a nervy affair with no-one really settling and wickets falling regularly to Muralitharan, but they eventually eked out a 4-wicket victory.

Himannv won by 2 wickets

In the first innings AndrewB's XI almost all got in, but none of them managed to reach 60 as they posted a disappointing total of 319, with Hadlee the pick of Himannv's bowlers. Himannv's team also struggled after a steady start, eventually trailing by 83, but Hadlee and Ambrose struck back at the start of AndrewB's second innings. Faulkner hit out for a gallant 90 as Underwood then ran through the tail, to leave Himannv facing a target of 304. Solid top order batting set them up well, and though Anderson ran through the late middle order, a quickfire 50 from Richards saw them creep home with 2 wickets to spare.

Simpson and Amiss gave Teuton's XI a fine start with an opening stand of 150, but then wickets fell steadily against a consistent team bowling performance, only Clarke managing to prosper. Michaelf7777777's batsmen also failed to push on, and it took some big hitting from Flintoff, supported by Davidson and Ashwin, to give them a narrow lead. More good bowling saw Teuton's men struggle, with again only Clarke putting up a good score, and Gavaskar then played the anchor role to perfection as Michaelf7777777's XI finally broke their duck in the tournament.

A fine opening spell from Marshall soon had trundler's XI in difficulties, but Sutcliffe and Walcott seemed to be batting them into a strong position against the spinners. But when Imran was brought back into the attack, he ran through the middle order, with only a stylish 73 from Cowdrey taking trundler past 250. This total was soon made to look inadequate, with Lara's fifth hundred of the tournament the centrepiece of a terrific team batting performance by JOJOXI's men. In the fact of a huge deficit, Amla and Walcott gave trundler some hope with a 150 stand, but when they were eventually dismissed, the team seemed to give up the fight and succumbed to an innings defeat.

I'm not smart enough to figure out how you're generating these, but the scorecards are brilliant!

Lara has just been bossing it for his teams. He seems to score these big 100s quite consistently, and understandably so, since it's what he did in real life as well.

The match began with some excellent and consistent batting from Line and Length's XI, capped by a hundred from Tendulkar. In response, JOJOXI's innings was held together once again by a magnificent innings from Lara, well supported by the rest of the top order. On the fourth day, Line and Length's men struggled against the spinners, though a good stand by Weekes and Border helped them to set a target of just over 300. After a fierce opening spell from Garner, Chappell and Flower fought back well for JOJOXI, and they looked to be heading for victory until Sobers, switching to his wrist-spin, removed Flower, and then Stokes, Imran and Marshall in the same over. Chappell and Warne took JOJOXI to within 10 of victory, but Steyn returned to the attack to remove Chappell, and then Muralitharan fell to Sobers to give Line and Length the narrowest win of the tournament so far.

ataraxia won by 118 runs

The match began dramatically with Wasim and Waqar picking up two quick wickets each as ataraxia's XI slumped to 30-4. They recovered well thanks to a fine 150 from Headley, with support from Miller and de Kock, until O'Reilly was brought on and quickly wrapped up the tail. In reply, Michael Clarke led a good performance from Teuton's top order and they looked to be heading for a large lead, but a magnificent spell from Lillee, with the best figures of the tournament to date, kept the lead under 100. Sangakkara and Kohli quickly wiped off the deficit and took the lead past 100. Thereafter, batting proved to be difficult, with only a 60 stand from de Kock and Holding taking the target past 200. It proved to be more than enough, however, as only Barrington and Clarke were able to offer any resistance to Lock and the other ataraxia bowlers.

Pothas won by 8 wickets

After the top 3 fell cheaply, Pollock and Richards fought back for Himannv, punishing Donald in particular, but once they were dismissed, the rest of the batting fell cheaply to Lindwall. Hobbs and Gambhir then gave Pothas's team a good start with a century opening stand, and though the pace bowlers fought back well, they couldn't prevent a lead of almost 100. Himannv's men were briefly back in the game as Hanif and Mitchell came close to wiping out the deficit, but thereafter wickets fell steadily, and Gambhir and Tendulkar had little difficulty knocking off the small target.

After a good start on the first morning, the Fuller Pilch batting fell away, with only a defiant 76 from Waugh preventing disaster. A solid response from AndrewB's XI gave them a healthy lead, with Tyson appearing to be overbowled. Then, when Gooch and Kallis were fighting back well, AndrewB's fifth bowler Hammond did the damage, and another fine innings from Greenidge saw them home in comfort.

The trundler first innings proceeded in similar fashion, with Walcott and Harvey batting particularly well against some fine swing bowling from Botham, and Watling's 60 giving them a useful lead. Michaelf7777777's batsmen then struggled, with only Williamson enabling them to set any sort of target, and after a nervy start, Walcott and Harvey again batted well to see trundler home.
