Wouldn't mind a nice fun chase.

Constant Runs/wickets = Wanderers

Just not the 330 type scores. A bit lower here.

It would be totally understandable if de Bruyn was left out of the test squad for Sri Lanka.
Unfortunately. Looking good occasionally is not enough. Need to give Hamza a shot.....

Bavuma needs some runs here.... perfect scenario for him to get a good fighting 50.

Always been a big fan Faheem fan, just needs to get his batting up to this scratch at this level, which I’m sure will come. But he should be a lock in all 3 formats

Just for a change, I'd like to see a couple of absolute roads in SA, LOL. Was the Cape Town match where Stokes hit 258 the last one?
Flatter pitches might actually help SA, our bowlers are good enough to get wickets on most wickets and maybe SA batsmen need a bit of confidence. These SA pitches don't give batsmen confidence.

Wickets have been lively but batting on both sides has been so poor. Probably the worst South African batting unit I can recall.

I just wonder with our atmospherics. You take all grass off and with our small grounds (add thin highveld air) batting becomes too easy. There hasn't been loads of grass on this pitch but it has seamed and swung but runs have flowed at times as well.

Durban and PE are the grounds now where there can be dull periods. No movement, slow, difficult to time and you end up waiting for reverse.

I do enjoy watching test cricket in SA but maybe our batsman have got into this mindset of a constant fight and battle which doesnt help like you say. I remember Elgar was going through that before last summer v India.
