Vastly different conditions. You'd expect Pu end Kohli to do better on this green top though.

It is not an easy pitch to bat on; but still and all, this is an underwhelming display of batting.

A classic study in persistence paying off for selectors this guy, hopefully this is just the beginning

I want to be wrong since he's one of my favourite cricketers ever but this has a end of career vibe to it. Not that he'll never play again but it's probably safe to say he's not the same bowler. Quality from babar though, great to watch.

We pushed very hard with the 3 quicks to break into the tail. A risky gambit that has nearly worked, but Azam and Ali fighting back!

Noticed it in SL to be honest. Definitely still Test class in my opinion, and when it all clicks he is still Dale Steyn, but I think we will see more of these spells from him going forward where batsmen have his measure.

Still bowling as quick as before. He dropped a couple too short but was still getting decent movement. He didn't do a great deal wrong just came up against a guy that had his eye in

Wow has Steyn ever been bullied around like this?
Yes he has been taken to the cleaners in the past by KP, Sehwag and to a smaller extent Warner. Not very often, but this was an innings of the highest quality. I don't think there's anything more to it. The fields were extremely attacking with plenty of gaps for Babar to find.
