92 team was rubbish. Every win was a shock.any thoughts?
Donald, Pringle, Brian McMillan, Kepler weasels, not too shabby for the time I think92 team was rubbish. Every win was a shock.
I think standards in odis have generally gone up across the board. I feel like this team might be comparable to some of the weaker teams we have fielded, but is less lijely to win.
At the time he did what he was supposed to do and he did it well. Remember Tony Greig interviewing him after the game with AB. Queensland mates once upon a time.Wasn't Wessells pretty bad in ODIs?
I would say 2011 WC squad could compete with this 2019 as maybe the weakest ? 1992 next.92 team was rubbish. Every win was a shock.

SA's 1992 World Cup squad was a team of hardened professionals with some youth who had good FC experience behind them.I think many people watched this game with no fear attitude and were hooked. Batted to 9 or 10 and we had Jonty Rhodes in the field. Kirsten, Cronje, Kuiper could all bowl in the top 6 whcih gave options especially for New Zealand. It was a very good side.

2nd and 3rd spells were a massive concern. Had to come back and bowl cutters and if that didn't work he was in trouble.Tsotsobe was quite good in ODIs for a while
