Imranrabb, He was talking about 300 not 200.imranrabb said:wahindiawah we are not india therfore our batting will make over 200 unlike india
I really don't think that the Bangladeshi and Pakistani batting orders are in the least bit comparable. The Tigers' top order falls over at the slightest suggestion of pace, bounce or movement leaving Mashud & Rafique to clear up the mess, whereas Pakistan have two top class bats in Inzy and Youhana plus several who are more than capable.wahindiawah said:I knew you would comment on Bang performance in Aus when only once they nearly got near the 300 figure.
But honestly Pak batting is so fragile that sometimes even Bang batting lineup looks a bit stronger than Pak.
In past Pak had good lower order batters in Moin & Akram who could put up 30-40 runs thereby helping their team to put up a decent total, unfortunately that is not the case anymore.
Much will depend on Inzi and Youhanna, both will have to come up good, otherwise i fear Pak will face humiliation.

wait n see dude !!Choora said:I think most of us will agree that Pakistan is going to lose all three matches to Australia.
In order to succeed in Australia, one has to be really competitive and also mentally strong, unfortunately that is not the case with Pakistan. Most of their batsmen are inexperianced. Salman Butt has played just one test match, Imran farhat and Yasir are relatively new and haven't yet consolidated their place in the team, Shoaib Malik has done very well in Onedayers but test match is a different ball game and life would be very difficult for him on bouncy pitches of Australia. As such i think the batsmen are going to struggle, and alot will depend on Inzi and Youhanna. (Does anyone know who has inzi performed in Aus in past?)
As far as bowling is concerned, i think Pakistan has very limited options (in the absence of Shabbir). Khalil and Asif are only going to play side matches and won't figure in Test matches. Sami is pathetic but will find a place since there is no experianced to share the new ball with Akhter. I think Pak will go with just three specialist bowlers in, Akhter,Sami and Danish, and will play two allrounders in Malik and Razzak.
Now can Akhter and Danish do the job for Pak? i really don't think so.
If so i'll be happy for you, but honestly i don't see how that can happen.Frankly i'm tired of aussies dominance but i think noone can really challenge themfrom_da_lost_di said:wait n see dude !!

i was talkin about just his being in the test squad would they even consider him 4 playing testsvandemataram said:Surely Afridi is not going to open for Pak in Australia in test matches, Woolmer is smart enough to understand that Afridi can never be a good test opener.
Only time will tell.wahindiawah said:Pak can expect a three-nil thrashing at the handss of mighty Ozoz.Test cricket is the game of specialist and not allrounders, Pak seems to have less specialist players and more allrounders, i don't think players like malik, razzak, naveed and afridi can do the job for pakistan.
