Honestly I thought it was a criminal offence? Guess that's just an Anglosphere thing then.

I actually don't think failing to report approaches is a criminal offence even here.

There *have* been suggestions Umar was actively involved in attempts to organise fixing and approaching other players which are criminal offences here, but he hasn't actually been internally charged with that.

They are criminal offences in India too and I don't think it is different in Pakistan. Failure to report is not a criminal offence anywhere AFAIK and I don't think it would stand up legally even if they try to make it a criminal offence.

This confirms what I have heard from several sources Umer has medical as well as psychological issues.A shame young Umer was a dynamite with a very high ceiling and could have been anything.
