Ottis Gibson quits England for Windies role

 Kevin Pietersen started in ODI cricket but he had already proven himself by scoring a lot of runs at a high average in first-class cricket. And an average of 19 doesn't make you a good ODI specialist either. Honestly...
Are you implying that he didn't make his name in one day cricket before he moved on to test level? if you are you're dead wrong  .

Hey, Benn's also a better West Indian cricketer than Shane Warne.
So you mention Chanders average at test cricket when it comes to Darren Bravo even though Darren hasn't had a chance but i can't mention Benn's record when it comes to Miller? like i said IT'S A CONTRADICTION.

Because Darren Bravo has massively outperformed Chanderpaul in domestic cricket? Do you know what 'contradiction' means?

The difference is Benn is coming off a 5 wicket haul in Australia, there is no reason whatsoever to drop him, Chanders on the other hand is injured and his form has been poor for around a year now, also Bishoo, Wallace and Odean Brown stood up to Miller's record last season but i don't see you calling for them to be involved 8-) .

 Ok ok. You win.
It's not about "winning" Mr M, because to be honest i thought our debate was over after we agreed to disagree yesterday, but clearly you didn't wanna let it go so i don't believe i'm to blame for this starting up again, at the end of the day Gibson will have his own ideas and we'll see what he does, what we say here don't mean sh/t in reality.

Just to but in slightly. I have seen an argument that Miller should replace Benn. I must say i can't see why, both of them are pretty comparable of average left-arm spinners based on what i've seen of them.

I tend to think regardless of performances in the weak windies FC competition, Benn is more likely to have effect on test batsmen more than Miller if he gets the right conditions. In ODIs they probably would have equal effect (would probably pick Miller in ODIs since he is better batsman) - while for T20s Benn has the edge.

Liam, are you sure your not Bill Murray and not in Groundhog Day?
Getting pretty scared right now. But I also think Windie would be pretty scared if he looked at the football thread to see what he may soon become.
