You're right next to me in the draft :p

You can blame the Google sheets rand function.

Lol. Obviously others do not think the same of them as there was a batsman and at least 1 bowler picked ahead of them. :)

But you are right that you got great picks. But that is mainly coz the talent available in the winners draft is so much more than the Losers one. 88 out of the 132 winners (there are folks who won more than once, so the real number maybe closer to 120 or so) is a better choice than the 80 out of 132 losing XIs.

And I cannot believe Aravinda did not play the 2007 WC finals. Damn.

By the way Ankitj, are you aware that Brendan McCullum was not the wicket keeper in the 2015 final and therefore cannot be used as a wicket keeper according to the rules of the draft? You may change your pick if you intended to use him as a keeper.

Also a reminder that each side must have 5 bowling options made up of players who bowled in the final that qualifies them for this draft.

This may mean that some players are eligible bowling options in the winners draft are not eligible in the losers draft or vice versa. An example player would be Mark Waugh, who is a bowling option in the losers draft but is not a bowling option in the winners draft.

Is that a minimum of 5 bowling options? I'm planning on having 6 or 7 (have Jayasuriya and Bevan in my top 6).

Anyway, Sir Andy Roberts please.

Yes, it's a minimum of 5 bowling options. In your case Bevan would not count towards the 5 because he did not bowl in the 99 or 03 finals (Though Jaya did, so you're safe).
