TAS lost.

After scoreing 222, they let the game slip away with poor bowling.

Disappointing...
So much for Murali being the great hope for you!

Karnataka Vs Somerset

Somerset manager failed to submit his team so Karnataka won the match on forfiet.Still the match was played for betting purpose.

Karnataka batted first and posted 7/237 on the board. There was good contributions from N Round(41),B Rowland(46),A Kale(60).

It was a stiff target for the Somerset and they fell like a pack of cards with Troughton,Richards and Jones taking 4,2,3 wickets respectively.

It was good allround performance by JO Troughton(30,4/23) and A Jones(32,3/0).Manager Aditya Mohta made a special mention of rookie A Jones who has played very well till now in his debut season.

nsw make it 2 from 2 in the one day comp.

looking to dominate again with qld nsw took on the firm favourites mumbai. nsw with the same side but showing a different batting order bowled first and did well to keep the mumbai side to a relatively good chasing figure.
mumbai batting first and depending on star t darden, push the score to 6 - 243.
the performers where DP Samaraweera with 63 (91). t darden 47 (51) also batted well. the pick of the bowlers for nsw was s macgill with 3 - 46 and s warne 2 - 39.

nsw needing 244 to take victory got off to a solid start loosing the first wicket @ 81.c richards 42(43) and b haddin 47(47) got the blues of to a solid start. m bevan again the star with 87(89) and b lara 50(57) both not out batsmen. m waugh batting down the order hit 6(10). nsw passing the total with 9 overs left showed good fight and character to win a solid game.
bugs malone was very happy with most parts, a little dissappointed with the front line bowlers but happy with the way everyone batted and scored runs. and was happy to be underdogs in the round. should have had millions on us.

haha

thanks
