The pitch has good bounce. Muzarabani and Rana both extracted it from the surface. Not a lot of turn though, compared to some of the Bangladesh surfaces of the past few years.

Ah there it is. Well done to Miraz - he's often pretty innocuous but he has his days out.

The Zimmers will be very happy to go into the second innings with a 70 run lead. It's plenty against this batting.

Ah ok, thanks. Glad they prepared a track like this - matches against Zimbabwe probably a good time to practice playing on them for when we go overseas, and you'd trust the batsmen to deal with the decent Zimbabwe seam attack. Misplaced trust though, clearly.

Yeah an absolute regulation nick from Mominul off Blessing. Expect it to cost Zim the game now.

Mayavo has struggled with the bounce Blessing gets but it was an abysmal effort from him.

It did end up costing them a decent number of runs in the end. We need to set 220 before we can go in with any confidence IMO which seems a long way off

Yeah he's such a bloody handful. Pitch seems to have suited him as well.

Game is in a pretty interesting place right now. They seem to have blocked everything for the last 10 overs which is an interesting approach. What's that about?

It’s great to see Zimbabwe playing so many Tests again. Probably one of my favourite teams to watch historically. I’d much rather watch Zimbabwe against other than another, say, Australia vs India series. Hopefully they can keep this rate of Test cricket up. Hope they tour NZ soon as unlike Chubb, I haven’t been able to convince the family of the merits of a trip to Bulawayo.

Zimbabwe defo with the upper hand as 173 might be too few for us to defend. We need Taijul to be ripping them off the pitch like Masakadza was just now.

Zim on track here. Bennett, Curran & even potentially Welch such vital additions to this team for life after Raza, Ervine and Williams. Blessing Muzarabani will hopefully keep them quite competitive. Just need another top seamer to support him and Ngarava.

Trying to work out where Bangladesh are? 4 of their all time top 10 run scorers are playing here. No Tamim, Shakib or Mahmudullah. What are the prospects looking like for you guys? @Aritro @sayon basak
