Cribb, what's going on with Williams? Staying/going?

I don't think he's really decided yet. There was a chance he'd bail even before this tour though so positive signs I suppose.

No chance in doing well in the WC next year. Bowling is probably good enough now to be competitive but batting is the main issue in T20 for some time now. When players like Imrul, Mullah get selected for T20s, you got to question the thought process and more so when T20 WC is so near. Guys like Zia (although a hack), Shamsur, Mukhtar, Milon, Mosaddek etc should be given chances in this format at least.

Yeah Imrul is not getting dropped for a while now after getting a few runs this year. Bad time for Soumya to get injured. Guy got picked and got runs in ODIs too.

Bangladesh are not very good at T20s though so this defeat shouldn't be a surprise and Zimbabwe also beat India in a T20 recently.

But given their ODI excellence, are they preparing with the Champions Trophy in mind in 2 years ? I think that's the tournament they should be focusing on right now over the WorldT20 in a few months.

Bit grumpy really. If Zimbabwe had a middle order including Taylor, Williams, Ervine and Waller and still had Kyle Jarvis to spearhead the attack they'd be such a decent team. They'll never be a thing though while mugabe and his mates still have power.
