If Zim go on to win this and we get whitewashed by the aussies later this month....we might as well pack it in and forfeit our members status, gift it to scotland or something.

Nothing too unusual tbh. Zim bowling good lengths, plenty of help in the wicket, a lot of Aus players out of form.

Finch = bad
Smith left a straight one for some reason
Carey = idiot
Stoinis = bad

Green is the only disappointing dismissal, not sure what he was doing
Tbf green hasn't had a bat in 4 months since the sri Lanka tour and came into this series thinking he was playing as a #8, probably rust.

I think he should be given the no. 4 spot but he didn't look very good today. Did his typical thing where just blocked without looking to score for a bit and then just inexplicably hit a catch. Seems to lack the ability to adjust while playing strokes.

This Zimbabwe team has the goods to become a decent fighting team like the 90s one. Just need a good batsman at No 3 to provide Ballance.

Ervine and Innocent opening with Williams, Raza, Madhevere Burl and Chakabva from 4 to 8 is good.

Madhevere should probably open at full strength imo.

Problem is that the best three bats are all on the verge of retirement.
