**Official** World XI v Asia XI

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
The scorin has been good despiite good tight bowling.

Score board always moied by Ponting and Lara (who is not at the best of nick in this inning but which means he will work out his way any way)

Also, the players are taking the math eriously but I doubt that just because they are given an ODI status, the players feel any huge pressure while playing such a match. This also explains why the batsmen are scoring fast. Ofcourse the pitch is good to bat at too.

Scratchy 50 for lara. Usually when he simmers for this long he explodes at some stage, which im expecting very soon.

I'm thinking Chris Cairns and Virender Sehwag might have a thing or two to say about the remaining $400,000 to be picked up from sixes.

I think Ricky Ponting might, we know what he can do once he gets setteled and he is 80 odd already..

We complain about commentators, but we don't know how good we have it till the PM's stuttering in the box.

I reckon that once he gets past 100 he'll start looking to go over the boundary.

Hopefully, Cairns will get settled in and then get hitting in the last 10 overs.

ROW are looking at 300+ easy if Ponting and Cairns stay in.

I reckon that the Asian XI should first and foremost look to clean up the rest of the sixes (if there are any) because those are worth a lot of money. $500,000 is worth 500 runs, in just eight strokes!! The teams can't leave today without getting up to ten sixes!

After that, then they can start thinking about actually winning the match. ;)

I must say it's a bit odd having an armchair expert in the box. I could do just as well as the PM.

Yep, he certainly has done some damage early-on for the Asian XI.
