So familiar faces in the final.

England's story has been on familiar path as Aus men in 1999. Can they replicate the whole script?

Dean and Ecclestone are a nice combination IMO. They're both a little bit different as well so it's a good set of variations.

The big score was always going to be a problem for SA with Ecclestone in the England team, needed to keep it under 250. An that is all about the catching.

I am still very proud of the ladies, because they have been competitive at this WC and showed what could happen despite the problems at CSA and the very little support they get. Both from public and from the structures. Hopefully this now leads to better things for all the cricket playing ladies in SA.

Ecclestone was always going to run through some team this tournament, just didn't expect it to be South Africa. She's the best spinner in Women's ODIs IMO.

Congrats England, sad for our ladies, but that fielding geez . We really missed our skipper Dane
Definitely missed Dane. But Lee having such a terrible tournament did not help. And need to find a genuine quality spinning option. Fielding can be improved on, as long as they don't use the mens domestic as an example. In general a better squad depth is required and that is only going to happen with more and better support from everybody.

Agree Lee's form was an issue, but Dane is a decent spin option compared to the rest

Just to prove that the BBC doesn’t use real people on the app, when the final wicket fell it reported that “South Africa need 138 to win off 12 overs with 0 wickets remaining”.
