How Cricinfo deal with women's cricket stats annoys me. They only show stats from international games. I think they need to start including numbers from outside of that from particular domestic tournaments. Yes, the quality is likely to be variable, but to not recognise any of these games as anything other than "Other T20/OD" means you can't get an at-a-glance idea about a new international's domestic background that's brought them to selectorial attention.

Wow, Healy and Lanning both gone cheaply. The depth of this batting line-up means it probably won't matter, but it still adds a bit of interest to this chase.

This tournament so far is a fantastic advertisement for women's cricket in which all the established nations play great, exciting cricket games to fight for the right to get absolutely demolished by Aus at some point.
**** I hope Aus go through unbeaten. They're only ever gonna lose one game this tournament, if any, so I know which one I want it to be.

We do not, under any circumstances, need them dropping a game and coming out determined and angry.

I remember telling myself the same things in the 2003 and 2007 men's WCs.

Yeah very real vibes of the 03 and 07 WCs here. They are a level above, easily.

Yeah, that crossed my mind too. An exhilarating scorecard to read at the time, but it might have done our chances in the actual tournament more harm than good.

If England bowl and field as well as this against NZ (along with the added confidence of a likely win here), I don't love our chances of beating them.
