Ha. It's grim, wet and cold in the Wellington region today. Strong Southerly - would not have been fun for the locals and definitely not for the tourists. Even with the price for attendance being free, I doubt there'd have been many takers even if it was dry.

The four-team tournament comes after last year's initial red-ball edition with two-day games

I feel they should have persisted with Voll. One of the bowlers could have made way since there are more than enough bowling options anyway. Harris and Molineux should also play more, but I don't know who sits out for them.

They keep bringing Darcie Brown back for the extra pace and I can't remember the last time it paid off. Also McGrath batting at 7, rarely bowling & being one of the worst fielders in the team makes her selection look increasingly questionable. I think there's a good argument for Voll and Molineux in ahead of both of them.
