I think they have already beaten the bat more in the first 2 overs than they did in the first sessions of the 2 previous tests. Good stuff.

Yeah he can be good in short spells. He still hasn't really got his outswinger back properly but he works well as part of their attack in a five man rotation on unhelpful wickets.

Yeah probably a bit harsh, but jesus that is such an ordinary ball. He bowls way too many pies to be given the new ball imo. Tempted to say I'd rather Holder takes it in some ways and makes batters play every ball.

At least with Rahul the guy's scoring runs so you can at least understand the rationale behind it, but Rohit over Pujara kills me every time. The irony is that Pujara would have been the most important player on this pitch.

I like how they are trying to shield Rohit from playing these quicks against the new ball because they know he's not gonna last and they will be criticized even more for picking him.
