*Official* West Indies Tour of England 2020

Whatever it takes!!!
Brooks has gone into his shell a little bit. Think he was 30 off 38 or something and is now 38 off 75. Not ideal for a young Windies batsman. Every chance he will play an indiscreet shot IMO. Hopefully he doesn't.

England not looking like taking a wicket now. Not dissimilar to last Sunday after Archer's opening burst.

EDIT
Nine over unbroken spell for Stokes? Really Joe?

I mean when both sides have universally agreed better attacks than batting lineups but both sides still get to 200/3 (with one being a nightwatchmen in the WI's case) then probably the dominant factor is the common one, i.e. the pitch. This thing is a pudding.

Grrrr. He'd played so well for that 75. Not the ideal situation for Blackwood.

There's still Chase. Forgot about him.

I don't think many of us saw that one coming. Still not hugely in favour of ten over spells for quicks but I'll take it.

Well, that is why they kept Stokes on, I guess. Still, Brathwaite has done what he can. Upto Chase and others now. Brooks has held it together pretty well so far, avoiding rash shots. If he can keep that up, Windies can post 300+ easily here. That is a big IF obviously, given its the Windies.

Yeah, I just don't want him broken for the rest of the summer. And he bowled a lot in the last test too.

Root's handling of his bowlers is very hard to fathom sometimes.

If someone would like to tell me the logic in not bowling a seamer until we're 50 overs in and then letting him send down 11 overs unbroken I'd be very grateful.
