It's no longer a proper FC match. It's Braithwaite vs Holder again, with Holders team batting first. Shane Mosely just got castled by an Oshane Thomas in-swinging yorker first ball. Da Silva is at the other end.

Don't the the full teams yet otherwise.

Not the best start for the fringe and reserve bowlers. Sounds like too many loose balls have been delivered. Roach, Gabriel and Holder will give the opposition very little, as is required at test level.

Really rate Da Silva as a batsman though, I hope he carries on here.

I remember Nkruma Bonner, who got a duck today, as touring here wih the Windies for a couple of T20 games in 2012. Him being in the side as a supposed norounder is one of the things that made the touring side supposedly rubbish, but they managed to win a game and draw the series anyway as they usually do against England. Never expected to see him again though.

Edit: It was 2011.

Turns out I'm enjoying a second look this series I had completely forgotten about. Swann was captain and Ravi Bopara took wickets. What scenes.

Indeed! Bonner is a reflection of just how bad our batting depth is to be honest. He has nice strokes but has never really scored prolifically. As a batsman you should be able to score some actual runs before making even an international side reserves list.

Good to see some wickets for Chemar Holder though.

Bit of a worry that Jason has had no time at the crease at all. Our lower order is vital given that our top order is so average.

c'mon it's been 5 months since the last england game and you can't even throw us a bone here?
