South African bowling is gun
Steyn, Ntini, Pollock and Nel.. pretty strong bowling line up.. it is sad that they don't give much chances to pollock..i see alot of potential in thier line up
I'd love to see M Morkel added where Nel is. If he continues to bowl like he did in the World Twenty20, that attack could take down any team.

Damn Smith! Was hoping you'd make a big one there. Now all my attention shifts to Prince and de Villiers making big runs.

I'm hoping no one makes many and South Africa are out for around 350, can't see it happening though.

Nah. WI played well and then decent in the first two Tests.
And it's a good thing they did, because if all three Tests were like this last one, the series would have been boring as hell.

Hope Prince can push on and get a century, so he can keep up his good conversion-rate. I didn't like him much at first, but he's grown on me and I now quite like the little man.

The pitch looks like a road. Pollock must have bowled exceptionally well.

The same with me. I wasn't a fan since he was a product of the quota system, but he has great temperment when he's batting and I'm a believer.

Yeah so WI need to bat all day tomorrow. Ganga and Morton need to secure their places in the squad for Sri Lanka.

I really hope Morton fails. The more I see him, the more I hate seeing him in the team. He has absolutely no footwork against everyone, is dire against spinners and is so easily bogged down. Narsingh Deonarine or Sewnarine Chattergoon please. Heck, even Adrian Barath is a better bet! Ganga continues to look to have the tools, but he's still making these really annoying and needless mistakes.

The team for this Test (especially with Edwards half-fit - worst selection ever - and Bravo injured) is perhaps the weakest in the history of Test cricket. I'd be very surprised if Parchment came good as a Test cricketer.

That said, come on Brenton!

Ryan or Wavell Hinds? Both have pretty good domestic records. I'm surprised that Kieron Pollard hasn't been called up to the squad, given how desperate the West Indies appear to be. Sarwan is in good touch back home though, so he'll be back in the side for the next series, possibly even the ODI games against South Africa.

Going back to Ryan Hinds though, the man should be much closer to the Test side than he currently is. Still fairly young, and averages over 43 for Barbados. When you take into account that his first three seasons were absolutely terrible, and his fourth pretty poor, then it becomes obvious that the guy has some talent. Averaging almost 50 over the last four domestic seasons, yet can't find himself in contention. In saying that, Runako Morton has been putting plenty of runs on the board domestically, so that isn't always a fair indication of quality.

Sarwan not going to be in South Africa. Apparently not fit enough. He probably can play but I think it's for the best that he stays. Builds up the pool depending on how Chattergoon does. Ryan should have a look in but he got banned or something like that. That's why Collymore is Barbados captain. Anyway cool to know I know someone who currently plays FC cricket, Simon Jackson.

Ryan offers a semi-proper spin option as well. It's criminal he hasn't played more test cricket, really, or at least been a handy squad member.
