He showed some promise recently in England and should be persisted with, the pace bowling stocks are hardly full at the moment.

They are team thats doesn't understand that the game is a Team Game its always been the individual effort that has won pakistan matches rather than Team effort

Can't believe anyone would think Pakistan should recall Mushtaq Ahmed -they did that in 2003 v SA (who don't play leg-spin well) he got 2 wickets in 2 Tests - and one of them was Andre Nel! Just because you do well in English CC doesn't mean you're good enough for Tests - why do you think Ramprakash isn't in Australia right now?

Doesn't make any sense not to include Sami or Rana then. Sure their talent has been mostly unfulfilled in the longer form of the game, but I'd take that any day over little to no capability at the international level.

does anyone know who is included in the pak Patron's XI team that plays a warm up with windies today?
Have no idea, Cricinfo are not following it and there is no mention of the game on either the PCB's website or the West Indian Cricket Board's one.

 Oh well. Second language problems and all that. :p

Of course, it turns out the side wasn't exactly that either. See http://cricketarchive.co.uk/Archive/Scorecards/107/107027.html Looks like Irshad got in for Sami. Pretty hefty total for the Patron's XI though - worrying for WI that Salman and Yasir got a 175-run opening stand.
Seemed like only seventy odd overs were possible. Presumably bad light had a play in that, was a problem when we toured there last year but losing nearly twenty overs a day is not acceptable. And I believe I'm right in suggesting play can not be brought forward too early because of the early morning dew?

Way to support your second choice keeper. I'm suprised Akmal didn't get a game given how poor he was in England.
Sarfaraz is considered a much better prospect then ZQ.

PCB Patron's XI are 305/4 at the close of play on day 1 of their warm up match against the West Indian's. Salman Butt top scored with 106 retired and Yasir Hameed also got a good score under his belt, notching up 92. Mohammad, Bravo and Edwards were the wicket takers.
